If you have ever broken down
once with your bus conversion you
know what a nightmare that
breakdown can lead to. OK, so
you're really good and you bring
lots of spare parts. But You break
down in Cartersville, GA and as
you are going to replace that burnt
out starter, a clip comes off the
end, rolls down the curb and plop
right in to the sewer. It's cold and
you propane has run out. Those
are simple things but what I am
suggesting is creating a list of
concerned people willing to help
out their friends and fellow bus
converters get on their way.
You don't have to be a mechanic,
you don't have to take anyone in
all you need to do is be a voice in
the night on that cell phone that
can give them local directions to
the parts house, or House of
Worship or anything that only you
would know because you live in
that town. Maybe their propane
has run out, maybe their diesel
fuel is low you can help by simply
answering the phone and being
there for someone. It doesn't cost
anything, you don't have to go
anywhere (unless you want to) all
you need to do is being that
comforting voice we all look for
when we are in need.
