The Help Assist listing is a database of people, all over the country, that are willing to lend a hand (or ear) to
someone stranded in a bus conversion. You might say "I don't know how to do anything." You don't have to. It would
be nice if we all were mechanics, or welders, or fabricators. But we are not. What you can do, is provide local
information for people that are stranded in or around your home town. You live there. You know the things that are
available on the side streets, the back roads, the little garages that have such a wealth of knowledge and
experience. You know where a person can get propane, a water bottle or even a letter mailed.
What the Help Assist list asks of you is to be able to answer the phone when someone needs help. Your answer
can make someone that is stranded feel comfortable in itself. If you can provide a service, that's a bonus, if , indeed,
you are a mechanic how much more wonderful could that be?
