Great old buses
can still be found
Frank Allen reports seeing
these 3751's close to his house.
The one above with the red lead
primer is still driveable, and is
being used by a local band,
whereas the one to the right
looks like it's being used for
target practice out is a field.
Frank's personal 4106.
Here is a couple of photos. He
has had it 18 yrs. Frank and his
wife converted it in the drive
way of their home. The coach
has a 730 automatic
transmission. Custom in dash
A/C with a second evaporator in
the rear, 7KW Onan gen set ,
Sheppard steering, two 13,500
btu roof airs, and all the normal
live-in features except washer
and dryer.
Frank says, "this has been a
good project and a fun one and
we have been all over the USA
in it. "

Another Favorite of Franks
Of buses found along the road.
The normal length of this '06 is 35 ft. It was
produced from '61 through '65, had a standard 4
speed in all models with a 8/71 engine. They are
very fast. This 30 ft. model was special made and
the understanding is there were only 3 made.
Someone out west bought all three, converted one
and sold the other two , of that, one remains and
one is a basket case.
